Day 14 of being thankful!

For those times when we need fast motivation to cook, clean, and do all those chores we normally don't want to do...

I am thankful for guests.

Day 13 of being thankful!

I am grateful for transportation.

Living three states away from all my family and dear friends, I am so thankful that there are ways to travel fast and efficient to my other home.

That doesn't necessarily mean by train (given picture above)
More like plane and car... and plane :)

Day 12 of being grateful!

You know how as a kid you do things because they were fun? Then to realize when you were older that you were actually doing work?
Darn parents..

I am thankful for leaves.

As a kid my favorite season was fall because we lived in a house that was surrounded by beautiful huge trees, so every fall I would go out, rake up all the leaves, jump, run and play everyday growing the pile bigger and bigger till it rained, then packed them up.
To this day I love the colors of fall and am grateful for those moments with nature.

I am thankful for fall

Day 11 of being grateful!

I am so grateful and indebted to our veterans.

Thank you to all who have served, and are still serving our country.
There is no way anyone can repay what you have given.
God bless you.

Day 10 of being thankful!

I am thankful for memories.
I love to take a moment and go through an old journal, photo gallery, or scrap book. They all bring back smiles and laughter. It's fun to look back and think about how young, silly and/or naive we all were (well I guess I can only speak for myself)
I am thankful for pictures that keep the memories alive!

Day 9 of being thankful!

I am thankful for pets. We have a Yorkshire terrier, and a green cheek conure parrot.
Tho at times they both drive me crazy
the unconditional love they give me is priceless.

BATMAN!

I am thankful for superheros, and the strength they give me to know that good always conquer evil!
What's your favorite superhero?

Day 7 to being appreciative!

I'm trying to come up with more words that mean thankful so I'm not saying the same thing for 22 days...
suggestions will be appreciated :)

Other things that I appreciate are MUSIC!
"For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart"

Day 6 of being thankful!

I am SO thankful for friends, near and far!
I'm from Idaho, and I have friends from here to there, and some out in the world studying abroad! From all over I can be thankful. (Not to mention it's one of my best friend's birthday today hehe... ;)

Day 5 of being thankful!

Even I, who is not very good at reading enjoys staying up late and letting a book consume me...
I am thankful for good books to keep our imaginations alive
and our worries far away!

What good books are you thankful for?

Day 4 of being grateful!

I am grateful for my family! The love and support that they give to me I can never repay!

22 Days of being thankful! Day 1

Nov. 1st

Today is the first day to being thankful this November so each day I will post something to be thankful for via a decal.

So I am thankful for freedom here in the USA! That we may believe and follow what we want to and believe without the worry of harsh laws.

What freedoms are you thankful for? :)

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
Me and my husband had a great time at a local trunk-or-treat.

Below is a picture of what some banner material, vinyl, something to cut with and a PVC pipe can do

I hid inside and wagged the tongue around while the kids had to reach in and grab the candy from a bowl :)

Next year we're thinking about putting a bowl of spaghetti on one side and some brains or something on the other and sticking a small candy bowl in the middle... :) the saying is trick-OR-treat right?? ;)
